Golden Celebrations!

Jack Kilgour's Mom and Dad celebrated 50 years of marriage on July 2nd and all of their children and grandchildren were there to enjoy their Golden Anniversary festivities.

At left is the photo taken on their wedding day and used for an announcement in the Winnipeg Free Press. At right is the picture taken on their 50th Wedding Anniversary.

Marvis has been active in purebred dogs for 50 years, since 1960!! She bred her first litter of German Shepherds in 1964 under the prefix Kilmarvdon (Perm Reg’d). She also bred Miniature Long-haired Dachshunds from 1970 until about 1990 and bred her last litter of German Shepherds in 2000. She is a life member of the CKC and the German Shepherd Dog Club of Manitoba.
